Launch of new Berlin electronica imprint features performances by label artists Demetrius and Toni & Mash, plus DJ set by label cofounder Joyce Muniz

May 20, 2019, Berlin — Black Diamonds Records, a new indie electronica imprint from Berlin, will celebrate its official launch at FluxBau on June 27th, 2019, with live performances by label artists Demetrius and Toni & Mash, plus a special DJ set by label cofounder Joyce Muniz.

Kicking off the night will be alternative R&B duo Toni & Mash. Fusing trap vibes with synthy electro pop influences and playful vocals with meaning, the Berlin-based duo will delight the audience with their unique live set taken from their forthcoming EP on Black Diamonds.

Next will be a special live performance by Berlin-based artist Demetrius. Demetrius will treat the audience to his distinct, soulful take on indie electronica with tracks from his upcoming EP release on the label, including forthcoming singles “Black Diamonds”, out on June 7 and “Sacrifice”, out on June 28th.

Rounding out the night will be a DJ set from acclaimed house music veteran and label cofounder Joyce Muniz.

“Joyce and I have worked hard to get the label up and running, and we’re ready to share our new collaboration with the world,” said guitarist and label cofounder Joshua Tennent. “There are many talented artists making some incredible electronica in Berlin, and we are thrilled to put them in the spotlight.”
